About Us
Amity CrossFit in Palo Alto is
a 4,500 square foot fitness coaching facility providing indoor, as well
as outdoor, training opportunities based off of CrossFit methodology.
In addition to group classes, we offer 1-on-1 personal training and
small group training. CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly
varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting,
running) executed at high intensity.
Amity CrossFit is a strength biased
gym. 3 out of 4 weeks our clients will do max effort strength or power
work(roughly based off of Jim Wendlers 5/3/1 program with a lot of
attention to the classic Olympic lifts) and then a MetCon. The fourth
week will focus on technique and skill work and also include a short
WOD.
