Emerson School is an accelerated K-8 educational environment in which students of diverse backgrounds achieve, thrive, and learn to understand the world in which we live.  While insisting on academic excellence, the school promotes the development of the whole child by encouraging independence, self-reliance, exploration, and the joy of learning.  Personal responsibility, creativity, and self-esteem are fundamental goals of the Emerson experience.
