About Us
In September 2009, I had an impression that I was to become a Lay Chaplain.....being the quick obedient servant that I am, I pretended I didn't hear the call and ignored the voice. Then I heard the request 2 more times--once while walking my Italian Greyhound, Coco (who has been missing since April 2010) and the second time when I was hopping into my car.
In April 2010, I finally finished my Lay Chaplaincy Certification from Cathedral of Faith in San Jose. On Easter Sunday I was re-water baptized at Sandy Beach on Oahu (Hawaii) to say "goodbye" to my old self and nature.
Although the Lord told me to close my real estate doors Oct 1, 2010 I wasn't sure I was hearing Him correctly (selective?) and tried reasoning with Him; but after a weekend at Women's Aglow International Conference in San Jose and seeing how puny my vision was and how large God's was--and hearing Graham Cooke, I knew I needed to "enlarge my tent." This past weekend I had the priviledge to hear and see Pastor Tim Storey, and his call to action was, "do you want to live an "almost" life?"--nope, not me!
So here I am, ready and available to serve God and His people that He dearly loves. John 3:16.
I serve my local community by volunteering at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital--Family Resource Center Saturdays 6-8p and other community events. (Senior Games, AT&T Giant Race)
