I had the best hair cut I have ever had at Legar Salon done by Katie. I was really impressed with the great service and attention to detail the salon offers. The staff are very friendly and make the atmosphere and experience great for their customers. I will definitely be back to see Katie for my next cut!

I also followed Melanie from a different salon and am always pleased with the end result. I used to dread haircuts because of the awkward hair washing stations and the inevitable 2-week regrowth period of disliking the cut before getting used to it. But with Melanie, I can just relax and watch in the mirror as she works her magic. Maybe it's something in the tea while you wait, or the scalp and neck massage before the wash, but all my haircut anxiety is diminished by the time the shears come out from the drawer. The sinks at Legar are set up so that the hairdresser stands behind the sink, not off to one side and reaching over you with a snakey faucet to get shampoo off the ear they can't see. This of course includes another scalp massage and the crisp, earthy scents of Aveda product erase all of those childhood memories of chemical salon smell I used to endure waiting for my mom's perm to set. Yes, Legar is clean and serene, polished and professional. Sweepers emerge from behind doors like little elves and whisk away the lost locks before you can even shed a tear, so if you want to donate your mane or keep a handful for sentimental purposes, be sure to mention it before the first snip!

I used to go to Melanie when she was at a different location and followed her to Legar. First off, I love her work, my hair always looks fantastic! And the salon itself is perfectly wonderful.
