Use to go to 'original' Mikes in Midtown - now with the one one the coner of Middlefield and Willow - it is just like home - food, atmosphere, friendliness

Since the first time we tried Mike's Cafe, we have been back many, many times....both in Menlo and Palo Alto. Everyone I have taken there has gone back themselves and taken others. So it is kind of a viral thing. The soups are awsesome. They have a large selection of salads as well. The entire menu is fabulous.

Mike's is one of my wife's and my favorite restaurants for a quiet, unpretentious but high quality dinner. It has all the friendliness of a neighborhood cafe but the cuisine of a sophisticated restaurant. You will always get a good meal at affordable prices with good service. My favorite is the four cheese ravioli.
