About Us

The Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce is an independent nonprofit voluntary association of business people working to improve the city's economic and civic vitality. We rely exclusively on membership revenues and event funds to serve our membership. Our membership consists of roughly 500 businesses including sole proprietors, small businesses, retailers, hotels, restaurants, nonprofit organizations, educational and health institutions, major corporations, professionals, and many others.

• Promote local economic development and business success
• Represent business interest to local government

Since its inception in 1910, the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce has provided an avenue for local business people to connect with one another and link into the broader community. The Chamber is a non-profit organization governed by an active member Board of Directors and a small professional staff.
