WHAT WE THINK

Our design philosophy is best summarized by three words: Clarity, Humanity, Integrity. 
Call it Design Chi.

In Chinese, "chi" or "qi" is the vital force that pervades all life. We believe that there is power in designs that live the principles of Design Chi. All three elements complement each other, and all three are required for powerful design.

Clarity
The best designs communicate clearly with their intended audience. Cluttered designs are often the result of cluttered thinking - uncertainty about what really needs to be said, or trying to say too much all at once. Instead of making sure you include everything you can think of, try removing as much as you possibly can, until only what is essential remains.

Humanity
No matter how technology changes our world, people respond to people. Ignore the humanity in your audience and your communications become cold and forgettable. Recognize their humanity, and you have a chance of evoking an emotional response.

Integrity
Customers who trust you are worth their weight in gold. Nothing destroys trust more quickly than the realization that perception and reality don't connect. If you don't have anything worth telling the truth about, you have more important work to do than marketing communications.
